Blondery’s website wasn’t doing their brand justice. As an exclusive online-only bakery that caters to enterprise businesses like Netflix and Amazon, their website needed to ooze class and elegance. When they approach us for help redesigning their site, these were their main challenges:

Goals

The Blondery team felt their website has imposed a natural growth ceiling. As an exclusive online-only bakery focused on enterprise clients, their site’s presentation is central to the brand’s ability to generate new business. After working with a graphic designer to rebrand, they approached us with these goals for their website:

  • Match the website’s look & feel to the style of Blondery’s recent rebrand
  • Visually showcase their range of impressive products
  • Integrate a few plugins deeply into the site’s styling so they don’t “stick out”
  • Drive new sales and get potential customers onto the wait list

How did it play out?

The most important part of creating the new Blondery site was doing their rebranding justice. We started by putting together a handful of concepts and styles to find an approach that would match the existing branding assets.

Once the design direction was nailed down, we audited the existing sitemap to build a list of everything that needed to be reworked and migrated to the new theme.

The new custom Shopify theme took place over eight weeks where feedback was gathered along the way.

Finally, the suite of existing plugins was activated and styled to match the look and feel of the website before the new theme was published.
