How we catapulted Peluva's conversion rate from 0.25% to +2%

Challenges

Peluva are a cool brand and have a growing audience of loyal customers. At first glance, their store slick, filled with cool videos and unique animations.

The problem was that their conversion rate was sitting a long way below 1%, tanking their ROAS and making sustainable growth difficult.

Spotting the problems

We ran the Peluva site through our deep audit & analysis process and found some immediate red flags:

  • Customer support popup blocking critical buttons
  • Non-standard UX confusing customers
  • UI elements not in the standard positions customers expect

Results

Within the first month, Peluva's conversion rate had jumped from 0.25% to >1%. Three weeks later was Black Friday when the conversion rate topped out at ~4%.
